Description Provides seed funding for the purpose of establishing or improving activities, methods, technologies, and processes related to the provision of community pharmacy-based patient care. The award will focus on a particular health condition for which a grant application and proposal must address to be eligible for consideration.
Amount Each grant will provide $3,000 or $5,000 to support up to an 8-month project plus up to a $1,500 stipend to attend the NCPA Annual Convention to participate in the award presentation.
Geographic Coverage Nationwide
Eligibility Applicants must be current NCPA members and currently licensed and engaged in independent pharmacy practice.
Instructions
  • Applicants must submit a completed application form and project proposal.
  • A representative must be available to travel to the NCPA Annual Convention in Philadelphia, PA during the week of October 23 – 27, 2010 to participate in the award presentation.
  • Recipients must submit to the NCPA Foundation a brief mid-term project report, a final project report, and a final expense report. The final report must be made available for publication, distribution, and presentation. The report should conform to standards for scientific and clinical evaluations/studies.
