Description	The Health Planning and Systems Development Unit, State Office of Rural Health administers these grants to qualified communities or nonprofit corporations for the purpose of training and supervising primary community health aides. A representative of the State Office of Rural Health is appointed to the Community Health Aide Certification Board and participates in the Community Health Aide Program Director’s Association.
