Provides support for the attendance and participation of individuals from underrepresented groups and/or faculty from minority serving institutions in program-related scientific conferences, short courses, or other well defined ancillary training activities to provide knowledge, skills, and/or networking capabilities that empower participants to succeed in the pursuit of a biomedically related research careers.
