Description Provides support for the attendance and participation of individuals from underrepresented groups and/or faculty from minority serving institutions in program-related scientific conferences, short courses, or other well defined ancillary training activities to provide knowledge, skills, and/or networking capabilities that empower participants to succeed in the pursuit of a biomedically related research careers.

Eligibility You may submit (an) application(s) if your organization has any of the following characteristics:
  • Public/State Controlled Institutions of Higher Education
  • Private Institutions of Higher Education
  • Hispanic-serving Institutions
  • Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
  • Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs)
  • Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions
  • Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) IRS Status (Other than Institutions of Higher Education)
  • Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) IRS Status (Other than Institutions of Higher Education)
  • Small Businesses
  • Applications may only be submitted by domestic institutions, and foreign subcomponents are not permitted.
