Description	Provides support for the attendance and participation of individuals from underrepresented groups and/or faculty from minority serving institutions in program-related scientific conferences, short courses, or other well defined ancillary training activities to provide knowledge, skills, and/or networking capabilities that empower participants to succeed in the pursuit of a biomedically related research careers.

Eligibility	You may submit (an) application(s) if your organization has any of the following characteristics: Public/State Controlled Institutions of Higher Education Private Institutions of Higher Education Hispanic-serving Institutions Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs) Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) IRS Status (Other than Institutions of Higher Education) Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) IRS Status (Other than Institutions of Higher Education) Small Businesses Applications may only be submitted by domestic institutions, and foreign subcomponents are not permitted.
