Description The Alice S. Hersh Student Scholarship is designed to encourage professional and educational development in health services research and policy among student members through free registrations at the National Health Policy Conference (NHPC) and AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting (ARM).
Amount The Alice S. Hersh Student Scholarship, which provides two free registrations to the National Health Policy Conference (NHPC) and four free registrations to the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting (ARM).
Geographic Coverage Nationwide
Eligibility Applicants must be current student members of Academy Health and must be enrolled in a masters or doctoral program at the time of application.
Instructions To apply, students must submit the following:
  • A completed scholarship application form.
  • An essay outlining how attendance at the ARM or NHPC will assist in your educational and professional pursuits in health services research or policy.
  • A current resume.
  • Letter from faculty advisor or project coordinator (optional)
