| Description |
The Daniels Opportunity Scholarship program seeks to provide scholarship funding for non-traditional students such as adults pursuing education later in life, GED recipients, returning military personnel, young people from the foster care system, students exiting juvenile justice programs, and those studying for their EMT or paramedic certificate.
|
| Amount |
The money is distributed in “block” grants to specific colleges and universities, both two- and four-year, in Colorado, New Mexico Utah and Wyoming. The institutions then convert the funding into scholarships and distribute it directly to students. Please note that the institutions themselves allocate the funding and the Daniels Fund is in no way involved in identifying specific students who will receive the scholarships.
