prepare students from rural Indiana to return to their hometowns (or similar towns) as primary
care physicians. |

| Eligibility |
To be admitted to the Rural Health Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:-
Achieve a minimum high school grade point average of 3.5 (4.0 scale)

Achieve a minimum score of 1200 SAT (combined math and critical reading) or 27 ACT*
-
Reside in rural Indiana**
*SAT and ACT scores from December of the senior year will be the last scores considered for the baccalaureate/medical degree application.
**To be considered, you must have lived a substantial portion of your life in a federally designated area that is not metropolitan or is designated as a rural census tract. Consideration of your application if you do not meet this criteria can be made if you have had other extensive experiences that would expose you to rural life and culture. |
